Where I wrote: "in the dark" I really meant to say: "in their shadows". And yes, let's shout and make ourselves visible.

That is why I named my work Project: Shadow almost 25 years ago. In that time, I have run a lot of creative businesses from forums to blogs to podcast networks. As I am refocusing for this next phase of my journey, I want to bring all the stories I love to the world so I can tell these stories I wish I could find else where, but Enby characters are not that common and well, we all know how Queer characters are treated in a lot of genre books.

Hi Charlie. Invisibility can be an awful thing, especially when it's imposed. The ruling elites have always been visible. Why? Because they control the global spotlights. Mere mortals like us are mostly in the dark. Pathetic, I know. But, in my view, true.

Yeah, sometimes the silence is deafening. I love the work; I am proud of the work, so I am going to push forward. The thing is, I know a lot of writers who are proud of their work, but crushed by the effort it takes to be seen through the noise. I only hope sharing my dark feelings and how I struggle through can give them a little strength to pursue the work on their own terms.
