Marvel is teaming up with Madhouse, a renowned Japanese animation studio, to develop new versions of its characters for four anime series that will premiere in spring 2010 in Japan (NYTimes)

This is exciting and a little worrisome.  It is exciting because this is the same talent that gave us Vampire Hunter D and Paprika, but how those talents will translate into the Marvel universe is uncertain.

The success of Gotham Knight brought this partnership into being.  I am excited to see these flicks, but they are being made for the Japanese market and there is no word when or if they will be available in the States.  They have also not named the characters will turned into anime
