The Scorpion King: Rise of a Warrior is out on DVD August 19, 2008. It is the prequel to The Scorpion King. I loved that movie read my full review here. It looks like this will mainly appeal to fans of the sword and sorcery genera and action films. Dwayne Johnson is not in the movie which could be due to many different factors. The trailer looks ok and it is definitely a renter.
