Stargate: Continuum Cover Art

Stargate: Continuum, second in the direct to DVD Stargate movie series, just became available for preorder. The movie will be released on July 29th.

I like the look of the cover art. It has an ominous feel to it and hearkens to memories of things like War of the Worlds cover art but in a good way. Reminding us of the plot of this movie being about how earth faces a Goa'uld invasion and not how the remake of War of the Worlds was about as fun as being stuck in a ship full of replicates.

I still have concerns over the story since we have seen it done with several episodes over the 10 seasons but being a fan and with the excellent job they did with The Ark of Truth I will give them the benefit of the doubt and put down my skepticism... they earned it.

The price point is really nice on this. I don't know why but for some reason something at $20.00 makes me think about the purchase more but once around $15.00 I get more impulsive. This will definitely help to boost sales of the project.
