Cryptic Star Trek Online's Cryptic Future?

It may not be dead, Jim, but who can get their hopes up anymore? Perpetual Entertainment/P2 is not going to be making Star Trek Online, and now rumors are floating around that Cryptic will be picking up the project... maybe.

We do know that Cryptic is working on a secret Sci Fi MMO, but that is not the same as proof positive that we they are in fact making Star Trek Online. I hope the game is not dead, bus this is not enough to give me hope yet.
