A pair of Swedish parents were fined 5,000 kronor for giving their child an obnoxious name. The court is also making them change it - and the child sighs in relief . Naming your child:

"Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116"

(pronounced "/ˈalˌbin/")

could be considered child abuse ... imagine ...

  • The child's developmental frustration at trying to learn it's own name; how to spell it and how to pronounce it.

  • The child every day having to deal with teachers and other adults who try to pronounce it and spell it.

  • The teasing and beatings from fellow classmates for having such a strange name... and if you doubt that will happen I will bring up an example of a fellow childhood classmate of mine who had the last name of butts... he did not have an easy childhood.
