In Theaters: Quantum of Solace

Quantum of Solace is out this Friday in the theaters and my recommendation is to save your money.  All indicators coupled with how terrible the last movie was has led me to place this move somewhere between renter and not even watch.  This modern incarnation of Bond seems to exemplify all the worst aspects of our modern society.  The trailer is not that exciting and only feeds my concerns.

Quantum of Solace is the second of the modern James Bond films starring Daniel Craig.  It picks up after Casino Royale, James Bond sets his sights on the organization behind Vesper Lynd’s betrayal. In the course of the investigation he runs into Dominic Greene who is brokering a deal to take control of one of the world’s most precious resources.  007 looks to bring down Greene and his conspirators relying on allies new and old.
