Happy Devil’s Night
Another year, Another Devil’s Night. I hope you took the time to watch The Crow. I have watched it ever October 30th since the film came out. The move is brilliant, dark, violent, and moving. How often can you say that.
The movie follows Eric Draven. After he and his fiancée are murdered the night before their wedding, Eric is brought back to life to avenge their deaths.
Based on the visionary graphic novel by James O’Barr, this film remains one of my favorite movies to this day.
People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can’t rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.
