In Theater: The Haunting of Molly Hartley

This thriller does not excite me.  It’s another child of the devil story where yet another late teen has to deal with a ton of stuff.  It’s time to change up the story a bit.  The Trailer and plot description screams of cheap tricks and empty emotional ploys.  I don’t expect a lot out of my thriller movies.  I even don’t mind when they use the occasional emotional short cut to get me scarred, see changeling.  But I get turned off very quickly when they lazily dump on as many cheep emotional ploys all at once.  If I wanted that type of cheep scare I would turn on fox news and save my movie money.  Read Theater or Renter October for more information.
