The Bells, Gotta love the Bells

In 1831, The Hunchback of Notre Dame was published.  Even though this book is never included in the genre, I see this book as one of the best Gothic novels.  Hugo was a brilliant writer, and this is my favorite of his books.

I felt like the Hunchback through out middle and high school, and still from time to time identify with him.  I have lived as an outcast and tend to gravitate to them.
