Atrium Collapses At Maryland Embassy Suites Hotel

One of the Skylights in the Atrium in Hunt Valley, MD, has collapsed (cbs4.com (or see video here))! There are no reports of injuries, but wow. I was just there in July for the Shoreleave convention. I have stayed there more times than I can count. It is a little freaky seeing it on the news for something like this.

As much as they charge for the rooms, you would think they could prevent things like this from happening. Wow, I am glad we have already booked rooms at the Marriott for the conventions next year.

I will be following this story closely. If I hear anything else I will update you. I hope the reports on no injuries are true.
