Who is your favorite character on Legend of the Seeker?

I really like Zedd, Bruce Spence does an amazing job acting as the harried old wizard it's like he climbed right off of a D&D character sheet. I also like that he has tremendous power but does not rely on that power instead he relies on his instincts and takes time to be observant thinking creatively and doing what needs to be done / what should be done and not what is expected.

My favorite character in LoTS is most definitely a toss-up based on two qualifications: who's most interesting now and who has the most potential. As for who interests me right now, it would have to be Kahlan. I find her very similar to a lot of women that I know (including myself). I think Richard and Jenson have the most potential to be interesting. Richard, for obvious reasons and Jenson for... well, obvious reasons. I don't want to give a ton away so I'm just going to toy with everyone who hasn't seen all the episodes and say that family always spices things up! More later!!! I really would have to learn more about the character personalities to give reasons that don't include spoilers.

My favorite character from the book would have to be Zedd. From the tv show, Kahlan would take that spot. I'm only 10 chapters into the book and there is only one season of the show so my opinions could change.

I like Kahlan because of her loyalty and and her ability to sacrifice for the greater good. These are traits I value highly in life.

Zedd, just makes me laugh and shows great intelligence. Also, traits I highly value.

My favorite character, both in the series and in the book so far (I am only around page 120 in "Wizard's First Rule!") is Kahlen. She's fascinating to me. It takes a strong person to harness and keep in all the power she has. I'm excited where the show is going next year, but fortunately, they are starting from Episode 1 again and airing them (hopefully) in order on my local station. I think I saw them all but it's nice to revisit them anyway.

I feel like I am just piling on, but Kahlan has to be my favorite. It is rare to see a strong, intelligent woman in fantasy who is not the villain, plus she reminds me of my sister. That sold me on her in the books, but the way Bridget plays her on the show reminds me even more of her.

And just in case your interested, I have seen my sister enter something akin to Con Dar. It was frightening, but helped.
